You place your order and check order status, all looks good, then 3 days later you get:

Shipping estimate: June 15, 2005
Delivery estimate: June 18, 2005 - June 21, 2005

I'm patient, but they're already famous for this crap with Marvel Legends, now they're doing it with Star Wars. It's tiresome when you budget out so much per month and discover this crapola.
I don't mind the wait,
just tell us the actual projected date.
Nothing's changed, it still says
"Usually ships within 2 to 3 days from ToysRUs"
I know it's nothing compared to real life issues, but..why the bullshit?

Yup, they're weird-

I just ordered an Underdog book, 2 UD DVDs, a CD & another DVD (Screamers)........

-first they sent the book & one UD DVD(got here today)
-Saturday I get an email saying the CD & the other UD DVD will be late.
-Today I get an email that says the other UD DVD & the CD just went out.

No word on the Screamers DVD [img]confused.gif[/img]

I think it's best just not to read their emails~

to me today before even seeing them on the shelf, which usually isn't the case most times as I end up finding stuff first and then cancel the orders.

i actually ordered an upcoming sports variant knowing it will never ship because its been up on preorder for so long. if i get it ill be thrilled but i ordered just knowing theyll cancel and send me a free $15 off coupon and ill get a free movie out of the deal. thats pretty bad if you order from a company knowing the results already wont be good.

I live for Amazon...I have spent thousands there with not one single problem. Most stuff ordered comes the next day or 2 days later at the most when standard shipping is selected.

For instance, once I pre-ordered the last Harry Potter book from amazon, and it was on my doorstep in a custom box at 10:00 AM the very day of it's release which as a Saturday. They present them all to the PO to hold for Sat delivery....frikkin awesome.

Don't dis Amazon if they have difficulty shipping rare toys or out of print movies. Every new movie I order is always there the next day, and I have yet to receive the wrong order.

Try living in a rural area with online shopping as your only savior.
